Saintpaulia

The Saintpaulia likes to be in a bright spot, but not in full sunlight inside the house. Water your Saintpaulia once a week just enough to keep the soil moist but not too wet. Don’t panic if you forget to water it once – the Saintpaulia can withstand short periods of drought well.

Dead flowers can easily be clipped off, as this encourages the formation of new flower buds. Fertilizing every 4 weeks during the blooming period is not necessary, but it does give the houseplant the necessary “power” to stay healthy.
