Congratulations on purchasing your ficus! A beautiful, strong, and air-purifying plant. But how do you take care of this green beauty so you can enjoy it for as long as possible?
A ficus can thrive in both bright and semi-shaded spots. Just make sure not to place it in direct sunlight during the hot summer months. Once you’ve found the perfect spot for your ficus, it’s best not to move it around too much. Is it growing a little too much in one direction? Then simply rotate it. The more light the plant receives, the more water it will need. Make sure the root ball never dries out completely. And would you like to give your ficus some extra care? After a year, refresh the soil and move it into a larger pot. This way it gets new nutrients and keeps on shining!
